Terms of Service

1. Who can use AstraVed

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. By using AstraVed you confirm that you are.

2. What we provide

AstraVed computes Vedic (sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsa) birth charts from the details you give us and produces written readings from them, including chat answers, PDF reports, compatibility matching, muhurat suggestions, Prashna readings and free tools such as the daily panchang and horoscope.

Readings are written by artificial intelligence. The chart itself is calculated with astronomical software; the interpretation is generated by an AI model working from that chart. AI can make mistakes, and astrology is a traditional, belief-based practice, not a science and not a prediction you can rely on. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

3. Your account

• Give us accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Tell us straight away at contact@astraved.in if you think someone else has accessed it.

4. Birth details and other people’s charts

Readings are only as accurate as the birth date, time and place you enter. We are not responsible for readings based on incorrect or incomplete details.

You can save charts for family members and friends. If you enter another person’s birth details, you confirm that you have their permission (or, for a minor, that you are their parent or guardian) and that you will not use the reading to harass, pressure, embarrass or discriminate against them.

5. Prices, payment and taxes

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and are shown on the pricing page before you pay. Applicable taxes are included unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects something you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change applies to your subscription.

6. Subscriptions

• The Full plan (and the Entry plan, for people already subscribed to it) is billed monthly in advance and renew automatically through a Razorpay payment mandate until you cancel.
• Each plan includes a monthly allowance (for example, a number of chat messages). Allowances reset at the start of each billing month and do not roll over.
• You can cancel at any time yourself on the Subscription page. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.

7. One-time purchases and credits

Single reports and chat-message packs are one-time purchases. Purchased chat credits do not expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

8. Refunds

All purchases are final, because every reading is generated for your chart the moment you buy it. The narrow exceptions (for example, being charged twice or a report we fail to deliver), and your right to request one free rewrite of a report within 7 days of delivery, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Fair use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute readings, reports or site content, or use them to run a competing service;
• use bots or automated tools to access the service, or try to get around usage limits;
• try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to AstraVed;
• submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or that tries to make the AI produce harmful material;
• present a reading as the advice of a human astrologer or as professional advice.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

10. Who owns what

The site, software, design, text, chart artwork and the AstraVed name and marks belong to us. Your questions remain yours. Your reports are for your personal, non-commercial use. Share them with family and friends freely, but do not sell or republish them. You give us permission to store and process what you submit only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep AstraVed available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have already paid for and not yet received, we will deliver it or refund the unused portion.

12. Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time by writing to contact@astraved.in. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where the law allows.

13. Disclaimers

AstraVedis provided “as is”. Astrological readings are offered for guidance and reflection only. We make no promise about future events or outcomes, and nothing on AstraVed is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

14. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

15. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for losses caused by your breach of these terms, including entering another person’s details without their permission.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first. Most problems can be sorted out by email. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will notify you by email or on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use AstraVed after that means you accept the updated terms.
